I’m Reading: Father and Sons, Gordon Andrews. Curran POV Vol. II
This short book is a compilation of companion scenes for the Magic Series by Ilona Andrews (really a pen name for a husband/wife team.) The Magic series is written in 1st person point of view of heroine Kate Daniels. Fathers and Sons replays several scenes from the series from the point of view of Curran, King of the Shape Shifters (he’s shifts to Lion of course) and the man Kate drives crazy.
The Curran books are an enjoyable treat. I like reading in 1st person but a disadvantage is not knowing what’s going on in the heads of other characters. The pair offer this book from their website but by requested of readers it is available on Kindle for 99¢.
The Kate Daniels/Magic Series genre is Urban Fantasy with romance elements. I’ve read the five full length novels and the series has become one of my favorites. (All in Kindle format so I’ve read them since 3/2011.).
