Mark Twain, 1835 – 1910

Mark Twain, the pen name for Samuel Langhorne Clemens, is an American author. He is best known for his novels, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Prince and the Pauper and A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court.

  1. Twain can say that because after the deletions the editor still wanted what was left. For the rest of us, it’s not quite so easy.

    • Exactly! Sigh… Even as I sigh,–I just wish my writing weaknesses were as simple as over using the word “very”.
      I over use just, even, as well as !, –, …, and italicized words for emphasis! I’m sure there are more!
