Top Ten More Kindle Jokes

Due to popular demand I managed to dig up ten more Kindle Jokes. Some are not so funny but hey, beggars can’t be choosers 🙂
Note: I’ve fixed the formatting inside this table over and over again, week after week but it bunches back up every time I come back to it. Arrrgggg…Gremlins? I guess I’m going to have to create a new template.

I wish I could cite individual jokes but they came from a variety of places often without a source listed, and most were altered in some way. Some were rewritten from the Kindle boards and some are adapted from well known generic jokes.

    Ha Ha.
    I feel dumb but I don’t get 7,5, and 1.

    • Don’t feel dumb JC, some of the jokes are kind of dumb.

      7. If her kindle is broken, Mamma can’t read the repair ebook to fix it. (actually KIndle owners can use an app to read ebooks on their PC but that fact ruins the joke.)

      5. Bradbury’s “Fahrenheit 451”, is a classic Dystopian Novel set in a future where reading is outlawed and books are being destroyed. 451 degrees F is the temperature books burn at. A plastic kindle would burn at a different temperature. (The novel was also made into a movie in the 60’s or 70’s.)

      1. This set of jokes is somewhat of a book publishing inside joke.
Part A is a jab at publishers since many authors feel publishers exploit and repress authors.
Part B refers to a popular method of using social media (Twitter) to promote/sell books (often self-published ebooks.)
Since both are rather low blows I wish I knew the source of them so I can point the finger of blame away from me. lol.
